The web site works just like the popular mass consumer auction sites. Features include:
- All auctions take place in real time with bids processed in seconds
- Highest bid is always visible... no more guesswork
- You can see a high quality image of the slide before you bid ... no more surprises!
- Your image is hosted for FREE on our web site
- Automatic email notification if you are outbid
- Web site registration is FREE
- It is FREE to place bids, and FREE to post your slides for auction.
- Sellers pay a 10% commission only when a slide sells. There are no listing fees.
- Buyers and sellers settle accounts between each other directly... and quickly!
- We'll email your invoice and account balance at the end of each auction. Account balances
are due when they reach $10, and you can pay by cash, PayPal, check or credit card.
Bookmark this site and check back frequently as new slide auctions will be posted every few weeks
including oldies from the 60s, 70s, current locos, and many other slide subjects which will interest you.
Most people collect original kodachrome slides, and some also collect Fujichrome, Agfa, and Ektachrome. As long as
the slide is an original image (no dupes please), we welcome it for auction.
Once you have registered our FutureWatch
feature should be used. It is a terrific tool that allows you
to tell us what you're looking for using key words, such as "CPR, BN, Burlington, CN, Union Pacific" etc.
Our system will send you automatic email notifications whenever desired slides appear on the site.
To start posting your slides for auction you will need a slide scanner (the HP
Photosmart is recommended), and
we are pleased to offer a limited number at $199 each, click here for
details. Your image can then be uploaded to our web site for no cost when you post your auction.
Complete instructions for scanning images are posted on this website...just click here.
You should also read the slide auction tips. If you have any questions, just send us an email.
If you like what you see, then PLEASE TELL YOUR FELLOW SLIDE PARTNERS!! The more collectors
that use the site, the better it will be for everyone!
I hope you have fun and enjoy the site!
